Propaganda Webquest

 

Under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin, the Bolsheviks used media to manipulate the minds of the masses.  Lenin pioneered modern propaganda with his use of stamps, statues, and the focus of this assignment: poster art.  Vivid colors and simplistic designs portrayed his message clearly was effective in helping gain support for the Red Army and Communism.  Propaganda posters boasted a social realism focus promoted Communism and berated opposition.  Lenin’s method of propaganda has been continued for centuries throughout the world for its efficiency.
